Hello, I purchased a 3 Day -1day Tickets for Disneyland. I have linked to my app, my question is am I able to buy disney maspass on app or is it something Im going to have to wait and do at parks?

It’s a small world after all, Norma, and it’s great to welcome you back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

First off, congratulations on planning ahead for your upcoming Disneyland Resort vacation! You’re already doing a fabulous job, especially since you’ve already created your Disney account and linked your tickets to the Disneyland app. I’m so glad to hEAR you’d like to add Disney MaxPass to your tickets, because it’s such a handy tool inside the Disneyland Resort theme parks! It’s a great way to maximize your time in the parks, since it allows you to make digital Disney FASTPASS Service selections directly from your phone, once inside the parks. If you’re park hopping, you can even make a FASTPASS selection for an attraction in Disneyland Park when you’re in Disney California Adventure Park, and vice versa! MaxPass also includes unlimited digital downloads of your Disney PhotoPass photos, which is a great way to preserve your memories from your epic Disney adventures!

Since you didn’t purchase Disney MaxPass at the time you purchased your tickets, you’ll need to wait until you enter one of the theme parks to add Disney MaxPass to your tickets, using the Disneyland app. This way, you’ll have the option of adding MaxPass on a daily basis. Here’s how it works: As soon as you pass through the turnstiles at either Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park, open your Disneyland app and select “Get FASTPASS with Disney MaxPass,” and tap “Continue to Purchase.” Since you already linked your tickets to your app, you’ll see your FASTPASS party already listed. Simply follow the prompts to complete the purchase, and then you’re all set to begin making your FASTPASS reservations!

I also recommend downloading the Play Disney Parks app – it’s a great way to pass the time and explore the queues of your favorite attractions while waiting in line!

Last but not least, don’t forget to make your dining reservations up to 60 days before your January arrival date. You can make dining reservations on the app, online, or by calling (714) 781-3463.

Please stop by with any other questions you may have as you continue planning… I’m all EARs!
