I purchased a 3-day so cal pass for my daughter. My daughter is 14 years old and will be going to Disneyland for her birthday. Will she be required to show proof of residency? and if so what form is acceptable? She does not have gov't ID.

    Hi Caron!

Welcome back to planDisney! I'm so glad you and your daughter were able to take advantage of the SoCal Resident Ticket Offer. I hope you were able to sprinkle in some magic over the last few months!

While Guests with the SoCal tickets are required to show a valid, government-issued photo ID reflecting an eligible address within ZIP codes 90000 - 93599 to pass through those Main Entrance Gates, minors under the age of 18 are not typically asked to present identification. It should be smooth sailing for your daughter to a wonderful birthday celebration! With the expiration of those SoCal tickets coming up on May 15th, I do recommend ensuring that your theme park reservations are secured. I know that availability is starting to become limited with everyone trying to make it to the parks before that date!

As soon as your daughter enters the park, she'll want to grab a complimentary "I'm Celebrating!" button. These are available at City Hall at Disneyland Park, the Chamber of Commerce at California Adventure, and most merchandise locations throughout the parks. Not only will she be showered in well-wishes throughout the day, but you never know when pixie dust might follow!

Before I let you go, Caron, I also wanted to let you know about a new ticket promotion that will kick off with the 70th Anniversary events next month! The Disneyland Anniversary Ticket offers both a 3-day and a 4-day option good for visits from May 16 - August 14, 2025, pending availability. It's a great way to add some magic to your summer!

I hope this was helpful and that your daughter has an unforgettable birthday! If you have any more questions, we are always here for you at planDisney

    Wishing you magic,
    Tara
