Hi, Tania. Welcome to
planDisney. I’m sorry to hear that you’re struggling with this! I’m sure that missing out on a magical day makes it that much worse. Let’s see what the options are.
Unfortunately, the
California Resident 3-day Park Hopper ticket is not transferable or refundable. The only way it can be used is if it’s you entering the park. While that’s probably not what you want to hear, there may be some options to consider that may help you get to the parks.
First off, you have until May 21st to use your third visit. That means you’ve got a little over two months, and maybe your situation will improve enough to feel like visiting the parks. The other advice I have is to consider
renting an electric conveyance vehicle (ECV). This is a convenient option that would significantly reduce the amount of walking in the parks. You can rent an ECV from the building just East of the Disneyland Main Entrance for $60 a day (price is subject to change), though availability is not guaranteed. I’d recommend arriving early to ensure there is an ECV there for you to rent.
Tania, while this ailment may change the way you visit, it may also allow you to slow down and enjoy the park in a whole new way. Town Square, right in front of the train station at the beginning of
Main Street U.S.A., is beautiful, calm, and serene right when the park opens - it’s really a great place to enjoy the atmosphere. I highly recommend grabbing an ice cream sundae from
Gibson Girl Ice Cream Parlour and watching the cartoons in the
Main Street Cinema on hot days. Enjoy some popcorn, listen to one of the excellent bands, and take it easy.
Tania, I hope that your situation improves and you’re able to visit the
Happiest Place on Earth to use the last visit of your 3-day ticket. If you do, I’m sure it will be magical and memorable in a whole new way. If you have any other questions, don’t hesitate to bring them to us at
planDisney. I hope you have a magical day!
