Hi Virginia, welcome to planDisney!
I'm so glad you and your family are answering magic's call to Walt Disney World Resort's
50th Anniversary Celebration next month. Mickey, dressed in his EARidescent finest at
Town Square Theater in Magic Kingdom, can't wait to give you a personal welcome,
hugs included!
It sounds to me like you are managing profiles for your daughter and in-laws in your
My Disney Experience account. Please confirm this by accessing your
Family and Friends list. If you see "Plans Managed by Me" next to their names, these profiles were likely created during the ticket purchase process. It was so kind of you to take lead on the ticket purchase. If you'd like to continue managing the plans for your family, you may. This just means you are the one responsible for making dining reservations, booking
Lightning Lane attractions, etc. For
theme park entry, you would also be responsible for linking their
MagicBand or using the
My Disney Experience mobile app to create a
Disney MagicMobile pass for them on your phone.
If your family would like the tickets you purchased linked to their own My Disney Experience accounts, let's go over the Disney details for that process. On your Family and Friends list, click "Update" next to the name of the desired family member. Then, click "Share Planning with ______" and enter the email address associated with that person's My Disney Experience account. If that person does not yet have a My Disney Experience account, they must create one before accepting the invitation. Once the invitation is accepted, all of the plans you made for that person, including their theme park ticket, will automagically transfer to their account. You will remain connected as Family and Friends, which means you can now make plans for each other.
I hope you find this information helpful, Virginia. In addition to valid admission, I hope you and your family also have
theme park reservations for each park day, which are currently required for theme park entry. The
Theme Park Reservation Availability Calendar is filling up for May dates and Mickey wants to know when to expect you!
Plan magic; planDisney.
