Hey there, Janice!
Welcome to planDisney and thank you for trusting me with your question. Let me first start by saying “Hooray, You’re Going to Disney World!” I’m actually answering your question from Walt Disney World at this very moment and let me tell you, today has been magical!
While looking at the ticket purchasing options, it seems that since your ticket is
date-specific, you’re good to begin your day at whichever park you would like. You’ll want to double check the specifics of your theme park ticket. For example, are they standard date-based or did you include the Park Hopper option? Depending on the ticket you have purchased, opens even more possibilities when planning out your day, if you do have Park Hopper tickets. You'll just need to figure out which theme park will be your
starting park. My family usually selects the theme park we are most excited for, as our first day park. This trip, it's Hollywood Studios is our starting park because Galaxy's Edge is on the top of our must-do list this time.
Something else to consider is solidifying your park day schedule sooner rather than later. This will come in handy if you are planning to purchase
Lightning Lane. Especially since you can start making those selections 3 days before your arrival, if staying off property and 7 days before you arrive if you’re staying at a
Disney Resort. You're trip is still a couple of weeks away, so you have nothing to worry about yet, but keep this in mind when selecting your park days.
Janice, don’t forget to schedule any
last-minute dining reservations you may want to enjoy while you’re here! One of my go-to’s is
Tusker House. The food, environment, and Characters you get to see while dining are all so incredible! It’s become a family favorite for us. My kids enjoy the entertainment while my husband favors the food. Disney does such a great job in really bringing the family all together. We love visiting and I can’t wait for you to arrive and enjoy your trip too!
I hope this has helped answer your question. If there’s anything else we can do to help, you know where to find us.
See ya real soon,
Shantel
