I purchased a Costco vacation package for October, but while trying to make my park reservations, it’s requiring an actual ticket number, not a confirmation number (which is all I have) Does my balance need to be paid in full before I can make my park res?

Greetings and welcome to planDisney, Justine!

Thank you for consulting planDisney with your excellent question. I was reading through the various vacation packages from Costco for another Guest recently and came across a Costco planning area in their vacation section online where Guests could secure Theme Park Reservations because the theme park tickets are tied to your vacation package. You could try that, or you can try to link your vacation package using the confirmation number you have to your Disney account online. To link your vacation package please sign in to your Disney account and then access My Hotel Reservations via the My Disneyland planning tab on the main page. If the Disney website accepts the confirmation number, you could then try to make your Theme Park Reservations thereafter as the tickets should be tied to your vacation package. This is the process for Guests who book Disneyland Resort Vacation Packages from the official Disney website, so I hope this works for you too. If you experience any difficulties, I recommend contacting the source of your purchase to inquire about your theme park ticket ID numbers, which you could then use to secure your Theme Park Reservations. Justine, depending on the type of vacation booked, most balances for vacations booked through official Disney websites are due 30 days from the arrival date (subject to change) but I do not know the terms and conditions of a vacation package purchased through Costco, you will need to check your invoice for those specifics.

    Tips:

Download the Disneyland Mobile App to manage your plans before and during your visit. Using the app and upon entry into a theme park, consider purchasing the Disney Genie+ service which will save you time in lines, plus, if you purchase the Disney Genie+ service you will enjoy unlimited digital downloads of Disney PhotoPass attraction photos and Magic Shots from the day.

Don't forget to make your advance Disneyland Resort Dining Reservations 60 days from your visit to enjoy unique Signature and Disney Character dining! You can even join a walk-up waitlist for participating restaurants with Mobile Dine Walk-Up Availability and enjoy the convenience of Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering using the handy Disneyland Mobile App!

Justine, good luck with your Theme Park Reservations, I really hope that this information helps you out - please feel free to stop by planDisney for more first-hand tips and advice!

    Best Disney Wishes!
