Mark from BC Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

We purchased a Canadian Resident four day park pass on Feb 11, 2020. We have booked ticket reservations and the Paradise Pier Hotel for early Dec. As travel restrictions are still in place is there any plan to extend the expiration date beyond Dec 16?

    Hi Mark,

Welcome to planDisney, we are so glad you took the time to send us your question about your upcoming vacation to Disneyland Resort!  I was so excited to see that the travel restrictions are finally relaxing, hopefully with the recent announcement about the borders reopening your trip to the "Most Magical Place on Earth" will finally happen!

I have some more great news, Mark.  Even if you aren't ready to head back to Disneyland Resort, your Theme Park Tickets hold their value even past the expiry date.  Once your Theme Park Tickets expire, you will be able to use the value of your expired Theme Park Tickets toward the purchase of new Theme Park Tickets, when the time is right.  Hopefully that won't be the case now that the borders have reopened and you will be walking through the gates of Disneyland Park "For the First Time in Forever"!

Even though travel restrictions have changed, I do recommend to double check the guidelines for travel with regard to COVID-19 testing and possible quarantine prior to your visit.  As things continue to evolve it is better to be safe than sorry.  When we traveled a few months ago, I pre-booked my COVID-19 tests prior to leaving Canada for our return flight.  It gave me peace of mind that I had the test taken care of, and I would have my results in time.

I hope you do get to visit Disneyland Resort this December, Mark.  If you have any other questions, please come back and visit us at planDisney.  We are always happy to help,
