Hi, Deanna. Welcome back to
planDisney! Thanks for bringing your question to us! That
California Resident 3-Day Park Hopper deal is awesome, right?! Such a great value.
A reservation opening up for March 20th is definitely a possibility. Plans change, and conflicts arise, so when a guest cancels or reschedules, there is more space. Some guests will get close to their reservation, realize they can’t make it, and reschedule up to the night before the reservation. While 3-Day Park Hopper reservations are slightly different, I have scored a
Magic Key reservation by checking back repeatedly. It was down to the wire, but I got the reservation just the night before the date I was hoping to attend.
March 20th is quickly approaching, so if you have more than one ticket left, I’d recommend that you schedule a backup date right away. Then keep checking back to see if a reservation opens up. You might be surprised! I should probably point out that March 20th is the time of year when the parks start getting busier with Spring Break travelers. This may make it more difficult to swipe a reservation, but it is still possible. Wish upon a star, your dreams may come true.
I really hope you’re able to get a reservation because you’ll be at the parks for my favorite festival of the year, the
Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival! Visit the
Disney Parks Blogs to check out the festival
Foodie Guide so you can scope out the delicious dishes, drinks, and desserts! Purchase a
Sip and Savor to sample six different items from the festival marketplaces. This trip is shaping up to be magical and delicious!
Deanna, I hope you get your reservation, and you make many magical memories! If you have any more planning questions, be sure to bring them to us at
planDisney. I hope you have a magical day!
Corey
