Christine from CA Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

I purchased a So Cal resident 3 day park Hopper ticket for my daughter in February of 2020. She was only able to use it one day before the pandemic park closure. Will Disneyland honor my daughters ticket? The original expiration date was May 21, 2020.

Hi there, Christine! Welcome to planDisney and thanks for your question!

I have some great news for you and your daughter! Promotional 2020 Southern California Resident Tickets have automatically had their expiration dates extended until December 16, 2021. Since she used one day of the three-day ticket, she can use the remaining two days before it expires this December. She can use that ticket on non-consecutive days, but November 20-27, 2021 are blocked out.

Be sure that the ticket is linked to her Disneyland Resort account because that is the first step in making theme park reservations for the two days she wants to visit. Theme park reservations are required for each day and reservations are now available through the new expiration date of December 16. She can use the theme park reservation availability calendar to see what days are available before planning her visits. If she has Park Hopper tickets, she will make a reservation for the park she wants to start at and then at 1:00 p.m., she can hop to the other park. I suggest making theme park reservations as soon as she is able as dates can fill up fast.

I'm so glad that your daughter will be able to experience all the magic and splendor of the parks with her ticket!
