We purchased base park tickets for our WDW Summer 2013 vaction. In making dinner reservations we understand that we can not visit one park and then go to another for a dinner reservation the same day. Does the same rules relate to the surrounding resorts?

    Hi, Stacy!

You are correct about your Base Magic Your Way tickets. You can visit just one park per day.  Remember that you can take an afternoon break and return to the park, it just has to be the same one.

When visiting resorts, you do not need a park ticket, so feel free to book a dinner at any of the beautiful resorts around property.   Whether it is Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary or Cape May Cafe at the Beach Club, go ahead and book your meals outside the parks however you wish.  This is also a good idea on your arrival day when you might not want to use up a day on your tickets, or if you are taking a day-off from the parks but still want to book a nice meal at one of the resorts.

If you need some resort dining suggestions, let me know!  I'd be happy to recommend some of my family's favorites.  Have a great summertime vacation in Walt Disney World!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
