Hello Keri! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
Collecting autographs from your favorite Disney Characters provides an Endlessly Magical experience and an affordable souvenir rolled all into one!
When we met Moana earlier this year at
Disney's Hollywood Studios Theme Park before she left in April(come back Moana, we miss you!), I found myself without a pen or marker to obtain the autograph. Low and behold, the Disney PhotoPass photographer had a pouch and an array of colorful marker pens that we were able to borrow for the autograph.
While a nice Disney Moment, that is the only time I have ever seen a Cast Member with such an incredible supply of marker pens for those that misplaced or forget to bring their own.
Keri, I recommend that you bring 2 marker pens with any autograph book that you bring into the Theme Parks. As Disney Characters have larger hands than the rest of us, the thicker and bigger the marker pen, the better autograph you typically will get.
I bring thick, retractable marker pens that do not require a lid which keeps things cleaner in my park bag. Just be sure to help out any Disney Character you hope to get an autograph from by opening to the desired page and clicking the marker pen open before handing it off to them.
Be sure to
look into Memory Maker for your Walt Disney World Resort Vacation. Some of my favorite photos are snapped when my little ones are getting autographs and the
Disney PhotoPass Photographers are experts at mixing casual "in-the-moment" poses with more formal, arranged pictures.
Have a Magical Vacation!
