    We purchased the Armed Forces 4-day park hopper tickets for the 2020 season. After using only one of the four days, the park was closed due to COVID-19. Will the expiration date be extended and/or can we obtain a refund for the unused days?

    Season’s greetings, Lindsay, and welcome to planDisney! I always enjoy helping my fellow Californians, so let’s get started!

    First off, I’m so sorry you haven’t been able to use all four days of your 2020 Military Salute Tickets since you purchased them earlier this year. I understand just how frustrating this must be! Like you, I have also been mourning the temporary closure of the Disneyland Resort theme parks. Unfortunately, your tickets can’t be refunded, but, I do have some good news for you! The expiration date for your Military Salute Tickets will be extended through December 16, 2021! These tickets can be used on non-consecutive days, with the exception of these blockout days: December 19, 2020-January 4, 2021 and March 26, 2021-April 11, 2021. Your expiration date will be updated prior to the theme parks’ reopening. If you have any additional questions, you can also call our Guest Information Ticket Sales and Service Team at (714) 781-4636 and a Cast Member will be happy to help you.

    Once the parks do reopen, keep in mind that reservations will be required. I recommend keeping an eye on the Disney Parks Blog, Disneyland.com, and the Disneyland app for all the latest updates and information. 

    Even though the Disneyland Resort theme parks and Resort Hotels are currently closed, you can still get a taste of Disney magic this holiday season at Downtown Disney District! I’m happy to report that the Resort has begun a phased reopening, and Downtown Disney District is currently open, extending into Buena Vista Street in Disney California Adventure Park! I recently took my children to Downtown Disney for a visit, and we loved strolling around and checking out the latest holiday merchandise. I highly recommend stopping by for a few hours of Disney fun!
