Kim from FL Asked Note: This answer was provided prior to the change to planDisney and may still contain references to Disney Parks Moms Panel.

We have purchased APs (Fl resident) online for our upcoming trip to WDW. They are linked in MDE but we did not receive exchange certificates as we have in the past. What do we do when we get to the parks to enter? Thanks.

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Kim! Congratulations on your Annual Pass to Walt Disney World Resort. I remember how hard of a time I had committing to my first AP, but now I can’t be stopped; the savings and perks are unbelievable!

When I purchased my Annual Pass online, I didn’t get an exchange certificate, either. Instead, you’ll print out your purchase confirmation from your email, and bring that, along with your driver license or valid photo ID, to any Walt Disney World Resort ticket window. After showing these items, a Cast Member will activate your ID, give you your iconic little yellow hard media ticket (which you can use as a regular ticket, but also for discounts, etc.) and send you on your way. It’s a quick transaction before you head into the Parks. But you needn’t worry about waiting to grab your FastPass+ reservations… you can go ahead once your AP has been purchased in the system and reserve your spot in line for your favorite attractions.

If I can help you find your way around the parks to highlight all the other amazing perks of an AP (like the dedicated entrance line or merchandise discounts), please let me know. You’ve got a friend in me! ~ Lindsey P.
