Hiya Mary!
Thank you so much for stopping by planDisney with your
Annual Pass question. As a fellow Florida resident, I have to say—living so close to the magic truly feels like having Cinderella Castle right in our backyard! It gives us the freedom to plan longer vacations or even pop in for a quick visit to see the latest seasonal décor (my family never misses the day the pumpkins appear on Main Street).
Now, let’s get right to your question. Since your daughter does not have a Florida-issued ID, here’s
how it works:
If your daughter is under 18: Great news! She doesn’t need to provide proof of residency. As long as you and your husband show your valid Florida IDs when picking up the passes, her Annual Pass can be activated right alongside yours—no extra steps required.
If your daughter is 18 or older: She’ll need to show proof of Florida residency. Because she doesn’t have a Florida ID, she can bring another document dated within the past two months that shows her Florida residential address, along with her photo ID (such as her passport). Examples include:
- Current mortgage statement
- Current homeowner’s insurance policy or bill
- Current automobile registration, insurance policy, or bill
- Current utility bill (power, water, cable, phone)
- Bank or investment account statements
- Mail from federal, state, county, or city government agencies
The wonderful news is that additional household members can use proof of the same residential address, so your family’s magic will all be linked together—just like Mickey, Minnie, and the gang.
Mary, I hope this helps you feel fully prepared for your upcoming adventures as Passholders! It sounds like your family is about to make so many core memories together. If you think of any more questions while planning, please feel free to stop by again.
See ya real soon!
Christina
