I purchased a Annual Pass this year for a trip I am taking with a couple of friends. We plan on alternating paying for meals and shops, can I still use my Annual Pass discounts if my friend is paying? Does the name on the pass need to match the card?

    Hi Sarah,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question!

I’ve had a Walt Disney World Resort Annual Pass for well over a decade now, and one of the things that I love about being a Passholder is definitely access to all kinds of special perks, including discounts at some dining and merchandise locations.

Because all Passholder perks are linked to the person who actually owns the Annual Pass, that means that you can only use your discounts if you’re the one who is paying the bill. Among other things, this means that most Cast Members will check to make sure that the name on the Annual Pass matches the name on the credit card that is being used to pay the transaction, and, yes, they will ask for some form of identification.

I’m sorry I wasn’t able to give you the answer you were looking for, but please don’t hesitate to come back and visit us if you have any other questions.

    Have a Magical Day,
