Hello there, Jacob! Welcome to
planDisney, and welcome to the
Walt Disney World Resort Annual Passholder Family as well. I'm delighted to hear that you're joining us for a full year of fun at the Most Magical Place on Earth!
You are absolutely correct, my friend. All
Annual Passes will show an expiration date equivalent to 365 days following the date of purchase, which means that you'll actually have an entire year to activate your pass before it expires. However, this expiration date will reset once you actually start using your pass! For example, if you start using your Annual Pass on November 29, 2023, it will be valid for use until November 28, 2024 (exactly 365 days after activating it at the Theme Parks).
Jacob, I recently joined the Annual Passholder Family as well, and I've been loving it so far. From the tiny details, like the special badge on the My Disney Experience mobile app and our designated line at the entrance of the Theme Parks, to the huge perks, like free standard Theme Park parking, all the discounts on food, merchandise, and special event tickets, and the collectible magnets, I can tell you that this is the best decision I've made in a while!
If you'd like to keep up with every single update, I suggest checking back on The Passholder Buzz, which you can find by scrolling down on the My Disney Experience mobile app's homepage. This is where you'll find all of your
benefits, discounts, and limited-time offerings! By the way, did you know that Passholders are now able to enter the Theme Parks after 2 p.m. without reservations? This rule excludes Saturdays and Sundays at Magic Kingdom Park and your blockout dates will continue to apply as normal, but I think this is a FANTASTIC perk!
I hope my answer has helped clarify things for you, Jacob. If you have any other questions for us, please don't hesitate to come right back so we may assist you further! Have a magical day, and see you at the Theme Parks!
Warm hugs,
Ana Paula
