I purchased an annual pass, and now I’m wondering how to make resort reservations and purchase tickets for my family. I want to make the reservation in my name. How do I make the reservation and add their tickets, but not add the tickets for myself?

Hey there, hi there, Stephanie! You're as welcome as can be here at planDisney, and thanks for stopping by with such a great planning question! I love being able to chat Disney with a fellow Annual Passholder.

Stephanie, first, I'm so excited to welcome you to the Walt Disney World Passholder family! The magic called me to become a Passholder, too, and I have not regretted a single magical moment. Being able to return to my happy place time and time again brings joy and magic to my life, and I'm so excited for you to experience this same magic in yours. Now, let's chat about planning your first magical family adventure as a Passholder!

Since you have an Annual Pass and will not be purchasing theme park tickets for yourself, you will start by making a room-only Resort reservation for you and your family. I suggest taking advantage of your Passholder perks and always keeping an eye on the Special Offers, Deals & Discounts page on the Walt Disney World website. For instance, right now, Annual Passholders can save up to 30 percent on rooms at select Disney Resort hotels in late spring and early summer. The room discounts are, by far, my favorite money-saving Passholder perk!

Check availability under your favorite offer or under the "Places to Stay" tab on the My Disney Experience website, choose your room and follow the steps to book your magical home away from home. While prices are subject to change, the current deposit to book a room-only reservation is the price of one night's stay at your Resort. Then, you will pay the remainder of your balance on check-in day. You can also call Disney Resort Hotel Reservations to pay your balance in advance if you prefer.

To purchase theme park tickets for your family, log into your My Disney Experience account, hover over the "Parks & Tickets" tab and click "Theme Park Tickets." Click "Continue" next to "Standard Theme Park Ticket" to begin customizing your family's tickets. Once you've purchased the tickets, they can be assigned to your family members. Let the magic begin!

Stephanie, when you're on your magical adventure, don't forget to take advantage of all of your Passholder discounts on dining, merchandise, events and more! Wishing you a year of magic, fun and savings!

I hope this helps, Stephanie, and I hope you and your family have the most magical and memorable vacation! Please stop by any time with any questions you may have. You've got a friend in me!

    Happy planning!
