Ahoy Allan - welcome back to
planDisney!
Thanks for stopping by with another question for our team of panelists. We love helping Guests just like you plan your very own magical Disney experiences!
There are two different services that you might be referring to, so I'm going to cover both. If you purchase a Wine Package in advance, this will be available to you during your first rotational dining dinner on Embarkation Day. If you ever don't finish a bottle, you are welcome to take it to your stateroom or ask that it be stored and made available to you at the next day's dinner. How convenient!
If you would like to have wine waiting for you in your stateroom once you board, you'll want to explore the many
Onboard Gifts options available. These are items (including wine!) that when ordered by the deadline, will be waiting for you in your stateroom upon arrival! Everything on the
Beer & Wine page except for the Wine Packages for dining, can be waiting for you in your stateroom.
On my recent cruise on the
Disney Dream sailing out of Port Canaveral, I ordered one of the Bon Voyage packages. When we entered our stateroom, the (already cold) champagne was chilling in an ice bucket, two glasses were provided, as well as a box of delicious chocolates. We spent an hour or so lounging on our verandah, sipping champagne, and nibbling on chocolates as we waved goodbye to the Port - it was a magical way to start our cruise!
I hope this information is helpful as you continue planning your cruise, Allan -
please let me know if we can help answer any additional questions before you sail!
