I see that you have to purchase WiFi on the ships, is this true if so where do you go to see how much it is???

    Hi there, Rebecca!

Ahoy and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  I am so excited that you sailed by with your question about your upcoming voyage with Captain Mickey!  SO MUCH fun awaits you onboard and I am sure you are looking forward to your Disney Cruise Line vacation!

One thing that I love about being onboard a Disney Cruise Line ship is that you really can disconnect from life back home.  But believe me, I definitely appreciate the fact that Wi-Fi is available onboard to check on things shoreside.  It’s especially helpful for my husband when he is away from work to be able to “keep up” with his email and check-in regularly…hopefully eliminating any “surprises” when he gets back to reality!  But we do try to limit our social networking while on vacation and really unplug and enjoy our time together as a family, which is easy to do since there is so much to do onboard!  And since the packages are based on data used and not time, we make sure to disconnect all our devices after using them, making us more aware each time we go to log on!  While always subject to change, current Wi-Fi packages are as follows:

    Small – 100MB - $19
    Medium – 300MB - $39
    Large – 1000MB - $89
    Pay-As-You-Go – $0.25 per MB

Be sure to check the Voyage Navigator that you receive on embarkation day.  In the past they have offered a free 50MB to Guests who sign up before the stroke of midnight on embarkation day!  There will also be a Connect@Sea representative onboard that can help you with any questions you may have!

Please note that you DO NOT need an internet package to access the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app while onboard.  Instead you will simply connect to the DCL-GUEST network once onboard to access schedules, menus, deck plans and more!

Wishing you a magical and memorable adventure at sea, Rebecca!

    Happy Sailing!
