Disney Cruise definitely makes it easier to keep in touch with friends and family who aren’t lucky enough to be sailing with you!
Once you’re on board, you can purchase
Internet Packages right in the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app. You’ll typically see two options: one that covers basic social media, video calls, and email, and another (Internet + Streaming) that’s better if you’re hoping to watch a movie during your sailing. That said, don’t forget to check the movie schedule on your ship! You might catch a new release that’s still in theaters.
To view your internet options, open the Navigator app, tap “More” at the bottom, and you’ll find the links to purchase an Internet Package or sign up for the complimentary
Wi-Fi. The free option usually lets Guests send text-only messages through iMessage or WhatsApp and gives full access to the onboard features of the app. Most of the time, that’s all I need! I love unplugging and focusing on vacation, but I’ve definitely had moments when I needed a day or two of paid internet (like the day I could finally share that I joined planDisney!).
