If I purchase a Weekday Select Pass for Florida Residents, does the one year expire from the date of purchase or the date of first use?

Hey there, Natasha! Thanks for coming back to see us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

There are so many ways for Florida residents to enjoy Walt Disney World! The Florida Resident Weekday Select Pass is a great option for people who have flexibility to visit during the week and may want to avoid the larger weekend crowds. According to the friendly Cast Member I just spoke to, your weekday pass will expire one year from "activation," or the first time you use it.

Just remember that as part of the Florida Resident Pass Program, you'll need to show proof of Florida residency before you can use this pass. It's also subject to blockout dates for the remainder of 2015 and for 2016.

Hope this helps with your planning, Natasha. Have a magical day!

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
