Hello, if I purchase the water park/sports option add on to my theme park tickets, do I have to use the included visit to the water park or sport complex on the same day that I visit the theme park?

Hiya Ben! Thanks for stopping by planDisney with this great question!

I'm happy to hear you are planning a visit to the Walt Disney World Resort! Deciding on the perfect ticket package for your stay is a vital part of the planning process. With so many options available, let's discuss what will work best for your trip.

When purchasing a multi-day ticket package, you'll be allotted a certain amount of days to use your tickets. For example, a two-day stand-alone ticket will provide you with four consecutive days to use them. Essentially, you can visit a theme park on day 1 and then again on day 4 (or however you see fit). When adding the Water Park and Sports Option to this package, you will be granted two visits to the water park, ESPN Wide World of Sports, or selective golf courses on top of your theme park tickets. You don't have to use your additional visits on the same day, you can spread them out over the four days. This changes when you purchase a three-day stand-alone ticket since you will only be allotted five days to use your tickets. With three theme park tickets and three additional visits to other Walt Disney World fun, you'll need to use one of these visits on the same day. In this scenario, I suggest combining a visit to the water park with a round of miniature golf. If Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park is open during your stay, you can spend a large portion of the day there and walk over to the Winter Summerland Miniature Golf Course before heading back to your resort.

If you are booking a vacation package that includes your Disney Resorts hotel and park tickets, your tickets will be valid for the number of days your resort reservation is for. For example, if you book a six-night stay and only purchase a three-day ticket package with the Water Park and Sports Option, you'll have the length of your reservation to use your tickets and additional visits. This will allow you to spread out your plans for the entire length of your stay.

Ben, I hope this information helps you plan for your upcoming trip. Make sure to pay attention to the number of days your tickets are valid when booking your visit. This will determine exactly how you can use your tickets.

    See ya real soon!
