If we purchase a vacation package online, will they still contact us if a better deal comes along later? Just trying to determine if we need to physically speak to a Disney TA in order to have someone looking out for ways to save.

    Hello Tiffany, welcome to planDisney!

I am so excited to hear that you will be joining the World’s Most Magical Celebration this summer! You are going to have the time of your life celebrating the 50th Anniversary with so many new experiences created just for the event. You will not want to miss Disney’s Fab 50 Character Collection. On display across all 4 theme parks are 50 golden statues of your favorite Disney Characters. They don’t mind posing for selfies and soon they will be able to interact with MagicBand+ later this year.

Vacation packages are a hit with my family and our budget. The special offers allow us to take advantage of the savings offered with certain deals. We also love the fact that we can make a deposit, usually $200 (subject to change), and then make monthly payments until 30 days before our arrival when our trip must be paid in full.

Unfortunately, you will not receive a notification if a better deal comes along. However, if you see one online, in a TV ad, or social media post, you can call the Walt Disney World Reservations at (407) 939-5277 to take advantage of the better deal. If you are working with a Disney Travel Planner to coordinate your vacation plans, they would also be able to keep you in the loop for any additional special offers, deals, or discounts available before your arrival.

Your magical vacation will be here in just a few months. I recommend making your Disney Park Pass Reservations for each person in your travel party if you have not done so already. Every Guest to a Disney Theme Park must have a valid theme park ticket and a park pass reservation. August can be a pretty busy time of year, with a lot of Guests trying to get that last dose of magic before heading back to school. I would recommend making your reservations now and if you need to make changes based on your advanced dining reservations or plans to attend Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, you can always make changes later provided there is remaining availability.

I hope this helps with your planning, if you have any more questions before you arrive, please come back and visit us again.

    See ya real soon,

Hi there, I am Andrea from the Buckeye State. A very proud mom to my princess who is a former Miss Ohio. Friends and family describe me as a "Disney Nerd" and Star Wars fangirl. I have made 30 trips and counting to the Walt Disney World Resort in all stages of life since 1972 as a small child, a young mom with a toddler and now as an empty nester. The love of vacation planning runs strong in my family. My uncle had it, I have it and with my help, you will have it too. Learn More About Andrea
