Hi Alexa! Welcome to planDisney! I hope you had a magical time at The Most Magical Place on Earth last month and created many unforgettable memories that will last a lifetime.
And thanks for your question about the
Memory Maker and
Disney PhotoPass Service. I absolutely love these services and can't imagine going to Walt Disney World without them. While I enjoy taking photos with my camera, there's something special about those moments when the whole family poses together, not to mention the fun attraction photos and videos you can only get with this perk.
Now, regarding the Disney PhotoPass Archive USB, it's not directly sold by Disney, but you can purchase it through a
third party called Ezprints. Keep in mind that not all media can be included
due to licensing restrictions, but I'm here to help you sort it out.
One important thing to note about the Memory Maker package is that while everyone in your Family & Friends group can link photos and videos to the Disney Photopass account and preview the media on their
My Disney Experience app, only the package purchaser can download the media without watermarks. If you purchased the Memory Maker package, then only you can download the photos without the watermarks.
Another tip is to download your media using a computer rather than the mobile app. While the app is excellent for sharing instantly on social media, it only allows you to download one file at a time. You can select all media on a computer and download it simultaneously, which is super convenient!
My top tip is to make sure the purchaser downloads all the photos for the group before they expire (within 45 days from the date they are taken), as they can no longer be purchased or downloaded after expiration. Afterward, you could create a shared folder on a virtual drive for your entire family to access and download the photos.
I hope this helps, and don't hesitate to ask if you have more questions.
I'm always here to assist our fantastic friends like you!
Cheers
Nilson
