I would like to purchase two Magic Key passes for my daughter and granddaughter. Can I just sign in to my account and purchase the passes and then give the tickets to them to assign to themselves?

Hi there, Julie. Welcome to planDisney. Thanks for taking the time to visit us with your question.

How generous of you to give Magic Key passes to your daughter and granddaughter. Disneyland Resort is truly a magical place, and how sweet it will be for your daughter and granddaughter to create priceless memories that will last a lifetime! Julie, I’m happy to report that you can purchase Magic Key passes as gifts for them. During your transaction to purchase the Magic Key passes, you’ll just need to provide full demographic information (name, address, email, etc) of your daughter and granddaughter. This must be done at the time of purchase as names cannot be reassigned afterwards. Their passes may show up on your Disney account. However, you can also share their passes with your daughter and granddaughter. If they have their own Disney account, they can add their passes to their Disneyland mobile app as well.

If you have additional questions, please don’t hesitate to visit us on planDisney again.

    Wishing you an enchanting day,

Meet the Panelist: Kiki, California

Greetings from Northern California! I have been fascinated by the magic of Disney since I was a little girl; now that I am a mother of two, I love watching my children experience Disney Parks through their own eyes. I am also surrounded by fellow Disney-loving nurse friends whom I enjoy quick adults-only Disneyland Resort escapes with. Whether you are planning your once-in-a-lifetime family trip or a short adults-only getaway to the Happiest Place on Earth, I am here to help!
