If we purchase a traditional dining plan with table service, how are to go orders from table service restaurants applied (ie: To go from Steakhouse 71 if staying at Contemporary)? Do these count as quick service or table Service?

Hi there, Cynthia, and welcome to planDisney! I'm so excited that you're in the phase of your planning process where you get to think about dining options for your vacation! It's no secret that I'm a huge fan of dining plans at Walt Disney World Resort so I'm happy to be the one to help you with this question.

When you use the Disney Dining Plan, you'll be able to use it throughout Walt Disney World Resort at all kinds of quick-service and table service restaurants, as well as at carts and lounges in the Disney Theme Parks and Disney Resorts Collection hotels. When you order food to-go from a table-service restaurant, you'll want to ensure that the items you're ordering are included with the dining plan. Cast Members will be happy to let you know if any of the menu items are not included. They'll also be able to let you know how many meals you'll be using. Generally, a meal taken to-go from a table service restaurant will use the same amount of meals that it would use if you were dining in the restaurant. Steakhouse 71 at Disney’s Contemporary Resort would require one table service meal per person.

Cynthia, if you need any recommendations on where to find the best meals, snacks, and beverages, you have a friend in me! Please stop back by planDisney with any other vacation planning questions you have as you continue your countdown to your visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth!

    See you real soon!
