If i purchase tickets now, can I wait until October 2021 to use them?

Welcome to planDisney, Dan. Thanks for taking the time to visit us with your question.

It looks like you’re getting ready to return to a land of Magic. Next week, California residents will be able to explore Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park with limited capacity. I can’t wait to stroll down Main Street, U.S.A. with a churro in hand.

At this time, the Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar only shows the first 60 days from reopening date on April 30, 2021. If you’re interested in visiting the Disneyland Resort theme parks in October, Hakuna Matata, Dan! Additional dates will be released on a rolling basis, so be sure to check back on Disneyland.com regularly.

The expiration date of your theme park tickets depends on the type you purchase. One-day tickets purchased this year will expire on December 30, 2022, while multi-day tickets will expire on January 12, 2023. This gives you plenty of time to plan a trip to the Happiest Place on Earth, even if your upcoming travel plans change.

Speaking of planning, Dan, please don’t hesitate to visit us again on planDisney for more tips and advice! We’re all EARS.

    Have a magical day,

Meet the Panelist: Kiki, California

Greetings from Northern California! I have been fascinated by the magic of Disney since I was a little girl; now that I am a mother of two, I love watching my children experience Disney Parks through their own eyes. I am also surrounded by fellow Disney-loving nurse friends whom I enjoy quick adults-only Disneyland Resort escapes with. Whether you are planning your once-in-a-lifetime family trip or a short adults-only getaway to the Happiest Place on Earth, I am here to help!
