Welcome to planDisney, Mia! You brought a great planning question to us today!
Guests wishing to visit any of the four Disney Parks do not actually purchase park-specific tickets. When Guests make their
park ticket purchase, they simply purchase tickets for the number of days they wish to visit parks. For example, if I book a seven-day vacation, but only want to visit parks on five of those days, I will purchase a five-day park ticket.
Once a Guest has purchased their tickets, the next step is to choose which parks you want to visit! A park pass reservation is required to enter the Disney Parks. Guests must use the
Disney Park Pass reservation system to make their park reservations. There is a
brief, but really helpful video on the Walt Disney World Resort website that shows Guests exactly how to make a Disney Park Pass reservation!
Mia, don’t forget to set up your
My Disney Experience account prior to your planning. This account will keep track of all of your plans! Also, prior to purchasing your park tickets, I strongly recommend you take a look at the
Disney Park Pass calendar. This helpful planning tool will display which parks have availability during your planned vacation dates. If the parks don't have availability, you might consider changing the dates of your visit to a time when you can visit your "must do" parks!
Feel free to send planDisney more planning questions! We're happy to help as you continue dreaming of your vacation!
