Hello Alicia! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
I try to take advantage of
Special Offers on tickets at Walt Disney World Resort when they become available, but I'm always sure to take into consideration when we will be able to use the tickets to avoid missing out on using said tickets.
The good news is that Walt Disney World Resort Theme Park Tickets are activated upon first use. If you purchase
Multi-Day tickets now and use them a couple of months later, you will have 14 days from that use to use the days on that ticket.
Be advised however, for any Multi-Day Tickets purchased as of today, the first use would have to be on or before December 31st, 2018.
Once purchased, your Multi-day tickets will be linked to your
My Disney Experience Account online. If you do not see them linked, you can
manually link them with a confirmation number or Ticket ID.
Using My Disney Experience is an excellent way to plan out potential Walt Disney World Vacations. I currently have multiple tickets linked in my account and have been managing them in such a way that maximizes the type of ticket(length, park-hopper, etc.) with potential Walt Disney World Resort visits.
Once I knew that we were going to get separate tickets for
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party this upcoming August, I knew that I we could use 4-day tickets instead of the 5-day Park-Hopper Tickets I originally thought I'd need, since we will only be at Magic Kingdom for the evening.
Happy Planning!
