Hey There, Hi There, Ho There, Morena!
You're as welcome as can be here at planDisney –– thanks so much for dropping by with a question! Eeek! Can you believe that you'll be arriving at Disneyland Resort in just over a week? You must be getting so excited! As it just so happens, you'll be visiting during my favorite time of year –– Spooky Season! Before your adventure starts, be sure to head over to
Disney Parks Blog and check out this year's
Foodie Guide to Halloween Sweets and Treats at Disneyland Resort. It's the perfect way to plan out all the devilishly delightful snacks you won't want to miss!
But before you can dig into the Grave Stuff or a Spicy Chocolate Churro, you'll need to do one very important thing ––
purchase your tickets and make theme park reservations, of course! And the great news is that you can both of these things can be done quickly and easily from the Disneyland mobile app. Here's what you'll need to do:
1. After signing in to the Disneyland mobile app with your My Disneyland account, tap the "+" sign at the bottom of the screen and select "Buy Tickets and Passes" from the pop-up menu.
2. Select the type of ticket you'd like to purchase, the number of days you'll be visiting a park, and whether or not you'll be purchasing the Park Hopper Option, and tap "Choose Your Dates".
3. Use the calendar to select the first date your ticket will be used and tap "Next".
4. Select any options you'd like to add to your ticket and follow the onscreen prompts to finish the checkout process.
Once your tickets have been purchased, it's time to schedule your theme park reservations for your visit, and the great news is that the process is really similar to purchasing your tickets. Again, tap the "+" sign at the bottom of the screen and select "Make a Park Reservation" from the menu. From there, simply follow the onscreen prompts to select the people you'll be making reservations for, choose which park you'll be visiting, and pick a date for your visit. Once those reservations have been finalized, you'll be all set to begin your magical Disneyland adventure once you arrive. The one thing to keep in mind, though, is that park availability is limited and it's not unusual to see reservations fill up for one (or both) parks as your arrival date gets closer. Since you're planning to visit in just over a week, be sure to check the theme park reservation availability
before making plans and purchasing your tickets. If the park you're planning to visit is unavailable, it might be necessary to make a few adjustments to your plans in order to visit Disneyland Resort.
Thanks for visiting planDisney, Morena. I hope this helped to answer your question, but if you need more information or think of more planning questions before you arrive at Disneyland Resort, I hope you'll stop by again –– we're always here to lend a helping hand!
See Ya Real Soon,
Amy
