Hey there, Vannessa, and welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by the panel with your question!
Walt Disney World does a great job with managing vacation changes. After all, Olaf said it best in Frozen II, “Things have done nothing but change.” The great news is that you can have peace of mind that you will not lose your money when completing your
Theme Park Ticket purchase. If you are unable to make your original vacation date, your Theme Park Ticket start date can be moved to a date in the future. You can even manage the change right from your
My Disney Experience account. Walt Disney World uses date-based pricing, so any changes to your vacation may incur additional charges. It’s always nice to have a backup plan, but I am hoping that your vacation plans go off without a hitch! Be sure to secure your
Theme Park Reservations as soon as possible after purchasing your tickets. And if you end up changing your vacation dates, keep in mind that your reservations are not automatically carried forward to your new dates. You will have to manually move your reservations to the new Theme Park days.
I hope this helps, Vannessa! If you have more questions while planning your Disney Vacation,
stop back by and let me know!
You’ve got a friend in me,
