Yes, you can purchase a one-day ticket and, if needed,
it can be changed to a future date. You can assign the ticket to a new date in the "My Reservations and Tickets Page" in
My Disney Experience. As you rightfully guessed, if the new ticket date price is higher than your current one, you will have to pay the difference. I had a similar scenario occur before, where, after purchasing theme park tickets for my family, my daughter got sick, and we had to change our trip dates. After choosing our new travel dates, I assigned the tickets to a future date in the
My Disney Experience App and paid the difference. The entire process of moving the tickets to a future date was speedy and easy!
