Hi I would like to purchase tickets for October 2022 for all Halloween events taking place in Disneland Park. This will be our 1st time attending in the fall and want to not miss a thing. What do I need to do?

Hey there, Cassandra! Welcome to planDisney. We are so excited you've stopped by with a spooky question for us!

I love Halloweentime at Disneyland Resort and I think you will too! The first thing you will want to do is purchase your theme park tickets and make your theme park ticket reservations for the dates and parks you are wanting to visit. That's the most important step! Then you can start planning all of the fun details!

There is a special ticketed event taking place on certain nights throughout the Halloween season, Oogie Boogie Bash - A Disney Halloween Party. Unfortunately, this event is completely sold out. I did want to mention it though so that you can see if it will be going on during your visit. If so, you may want to schedule Disneyland Park as your park for that day unless you have a Park Hopper Ticket. This is because Disney California Adventure Park will close early for this event.

Don't worry though, there's plenty of Halloween fun in the parks still! You can't miss Haunted Mansion Holiday and Guardians of the Galaxy - Monsters After Dark attractions. Cars Land is my favorite place to take in all of the best spooky decorations. And last but not least, the food! I'd keep your eye on the Disney Parks Blog for the Foodie Guide that should release soon.  This will give you a complete list of all the limited-time food and drinks across the resort.

Cassandra, I hope you and your grim-grinning Guests have the best time enjoying your first spooky visit to Disneyland Resort. See you real soon!

Well hello friend! I'm Carrie, a work-from-home mama and military wife who currently calls sunny San Diego home. We love that we are close enough to Disneyland Resort to make a last-minute trip to see the Mouse quite frequently. You'll find us in the parks braving drops and coasters to work up our appetite to take as many snack breaks as we can fit in! I love helping my friends plan memorable trips to Disneyland Resort and can't wait to help you too! Learn More About Carrie
