Hiya, Claire!
Woohoo! It’s finally time to redeem that ticket to The Happiest Place on Earth! I’m so excited for you. And I like your timing too. With the
Disney100 Celebration going on now, there’s more magic than ever.
To redeem a
wholly unused but expired Disneyland Resort
theme park ticket, you can take your Disney eTicket to a main entrance ticket booth. There, a Cast Member can help you with upgrading to a new ticket of equal or greater value. Just in case, I recommend also taking a photo ID and the form of payment used for the original ticket purchase. They may be useful for looking up and verifying the purchase.
Once your ticket is upgraded, you will still need to link it to your Disneyland Resort account and book a new
theme park reservation. I recommend looking up the
theme park reservation availability calendar to make sure the date you wish to visit is still available. If you have questions or concerns about your ticket upgrade or booking a park reservation, I recommend giving a call to the
Tickets phone line or initiating a chat in the
Disneyland mobile app.
Claire, I’m sincerely overjoyed knowing you are finally able to make it to the Disneyland Resort. I hope you can make it sooner than later. Through April 25, 2023, you can experience the
Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival. That amazing event features one of my favorite limited-time attractions: the exhilarating
Soarin’ Over California!
Have a magical time!
