Hi Jessica! Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney.
Admission tickets are non-refundable according to the current terms of purchase. However, wholly unused standard theme park tickets that haven't expired are still good even if you don't visit on the day of your original
theme park reservation. One-day tickets operate on a tier system. Simply choose a new available theme park reservation of the same or lower tier level. You can also pay the difference to upgrade your ticket to a higher-tier date. The expiration dates for most standard Disneyland Resort tickets are extremely generous, allowing Guests greater flexibility. Special event tickets and some ticket offers operate differently, so check the terms associated with your tickets. These are subject to change, and
theme park reservation availability isn't guaranteed.
I can walk you through how to modify or make a theme park reservation on an existing ticket. Navigate to the Disneyland Resort homepage and hover over the "My Disneyland" option on the far right side. Select "Theme Park Reservations" from the dropdown menu. Look for the "Make or Modify Theme Park Reservations" button to get started. Then, follow the prompts.
I want to assure you, however, that there is no need to cancel a visit because there's some rain in the forecast. I've visited during sprinkles and downpours, and it didn't dampen my fun at all. There's plenty to do indoors if you want to get out of the rain, including indoor attractions, dining, and shopping. The parks don't shut down the fun because some drops are falling, so pack a poncho, an umbrella, and some shoes you don't mind getting wet.
Bringing the right gear always helps at the parks. Regardless of the weather, I pack a reusable water bottle, good walking shoes, sunglasses, and sunscreen. For your dates, you'll also want to pack layers. The mornings and evenings will be cooler, and a jacket or sweatshirt you can throw in a bag or tie around your waist will come in handy.
I hope this helps!
Elizabeth
