Hi Pam! Welcome to planDisney! It's so great to have you stop by!
It is never too early to start planning a
Walt Disney World Resort vacation! With everything that goes into a park day, the earlier you get your itinerary set, the more relaxing your day will be. If I could only visit one theme park on a visit to Walt Disney World, the
Magic Kingdom Park would be number one. With iconic landmarks, such as Cinderella Castle and Main Street, U.S.A., along with countless attractions, there is something for the entire family to enjoy at this park!
In years past, Walt Disney World has released the following year’s ticket packages sometime at the beginning of the summer. If this is the case, you should be able to
purchase your tickets in the next month or so. Once park tickets go on sale, park reservations should become available as well. At this time, you will still need to
secure your park reservations to the park you wish to visit on select dates. For you, you'll need to select the Magic Kingdom for the exact date that you purchased your ticket.
If you have additional days to spend at the Resort, I would recommend purchasing multi-day tickets and visiting the other three theme parks on property. EPCOT has undergone some major changes and has introduced new attractions. Remy's Ratatouille Adventure has already debuted and
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind is set to open at the end of May. The entire park has also been reimagined and the best is still yet to come. I'm hoping by the time you visit that the construction is completed and the entire park is available for you to explore!
Keep an ear and eye out for any
announcements for the Magic Kingdom before your arrival. There is a chance that a brand new attraction will be opening by the time of your visit! Tron Lightcycle Power Run is nearing the end of construction and will hopefully be available for all Guests to experience in the near future. This thrill ride has been highly anticipated for quite some time and will be a welcome addition to the park.
Pam, I hope you have a magical time on your visit next year!
