    When can I purchase tickets for magic kingdom for Christmas Day?

    Hi Stacy,

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am so excited that you are planning to visit the Walt Disney World Resort during the Christmas holiday season.

    Good news - you can purchase theme park tickets now and use them when you are ready. Be sure to read the ticket expiration policy when you purchase your tickets and review this Frequently Asked Question response related to theme park tickets. 

    I do have one word of caution. The week you are planning to visit is quite busy at the Walt Disney World Resort and, in years prior, Magic Kingdom has closed temporarily to some guests. I highly recommend that you book a Magic Your Way Vacation Package. When park closures begin due to overcrowding, non-resort guests will be among the first affected by the closure. I would hate for you to have theme park tickets but not be allowed to enter the park.

    Stacy, as you plan your vacation, remember to check out the Holidays at Walt Disney World Resort activities. I adore Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. Know that it requires an additional park ticket. The lights, the parade, the holiday treats are all fantastic!
