Welcome to planDisney, Herbie!
As Remy once said, “The only thing predictable about life is its unpredictability.” Getting sick and having to postpone a trip to the Disneyland Resort is never fun. However, as Ursula says, "Life's full of tough choices, isn't it?" Sometimes life throws us a curveball and we need to make less-than-magical decisions.
You'll be pleased to know that your money is not lost if you have to postpone your trip. Although tickets are non-refundable, you can always reschedule your trip for another day. Each ticket has an expiration date, which you can view on your
My Disneyland account. If you change your date, you'll just have to pay any difference in price. Even if your ticket expires before you can make it back again, you can rest assured that your ticket never loses its value. The original value of expired theme park tickets can always be applied toward the purchase of new tickets. Again, you'll just had to pay any difference in price. Therefore, if you'd like to apply the value of your tickets to some new tickets, here's what you need to do: call
"Tickets" at Guest Services and a helpful Cast Member will wave their magic wand and get you some new tickets.
I hope that eases any worries, Herbie. Mickey and his pals can't wait for you to arrive at
The Happiest Place on Earth. See ya real soon!
