I want to purchase tickets for my kids and grandkids for Christmas, but want them to be able to plan their visit when they want. Is it possible to just purchase a gift card? How do I go about paying for the tickets in advance with no date?

    Hi Kimberly,

Thank you for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with this question. How wonderful of you to purchase Walt Disney World Resort theme park tickets for your kids and grandchildren! That will be such a magical Christmas present for your family!

I am very happy to let you know that your kids will be able to hold onto their theme park tickets until they are ready to use them - you do not need to designate any specific date! Theme park tickets do expire, but not until 14 days after their first use. This means, your kids can just hold onto their tickets until they are ready to visit Walt Disney World Resort. Just visit the theme park ticket page on the Walt Disney World Resort website to purchase tickets. Alternatively, you can certainly purchase Disney Gift Cards for your kids that they can later use to purchase theme park tickets! Either way, this will be such a special Christmas present for your family.

I hope this helps with your Christmas present planning, Kimberly! Please stop back again real soon with any additional questions.

    Have a magical day!
