Hey Howdy Hey, Becca!
Welcome to planDisney! Thank you for stopping by with your question about purchasing group tickets for your upcoming trip to
Disneyland. It sounds like you are planning on spreading the magic in a big way with your group. I'm happy to help you!
The answer to your question about a group ticket purchase depends on the type of group you are visiting the parks with. If it's a family and friends visit, the best way to purchase tickets would be through the
Disneyland Tickets & Reservations either online or on the phone. One thing to note, however, is that each person needs a valid theme park ticket and a valid theme park reservation for the same day as the ticket in order to enter the park on that day. You may find it helpful to speak with a
Cast Member on the phone to book these tickets. There is not a group rate for family and friends tickets, but I always recommend checking the
Discounts & Offers page to see if any of these savings may apply.
If it is an organized school group, there is a different option. For youth groups, the Disneyland Resort offers specially-priced tickets through
Disney Imagination Campus, which offers field trips and educational opportunities to groups of at least 10 Guests between the ages of 3 to 22. For more information about this program, you can click here to get started.
Another option for discounted group tickets is for
large and small business meetings, conventions, and events. For more information about these types of groups, you can visit the Meetings & Conventions page for how to book your business group.
For a family and friends visit, there isn’t currently a large group discount. However, I recommend checking out this helpful
Discounts & Offers page to see if any of these discounts may apply to the members of your group.
I hope this helps you, Becca. If you have any further Disney vacation planning questions, stop back and see me here because you've got a friend in me!
Happy Trails,
Keri
