Hiya Melony,
Welcome to planDisney! We are so excited that you are here and planning a Walt Disney World Resort vacation. Nothing gets me in the holiday spirit more than Walt Disney World! November is such a magical time at the Theme Parks. All the holiday decorations are prominently displayed, and EPCOT’s iconic
International Festival of the Holidays is in full swing.
Now let’s talk about
Theme Park Tickets! Technically yes, you can purchase Theme Park tickets at the gate; however, I do not recommend doing so. To visit Walt Disney World Resort Theme Parks, you will need a valid Theme Park ticket and a
Disney Park Pass Reservation for the park you would like to visit. Walt Disney World Resort tends to get very busy during the holiday season. Since Disney Park Pass Reservations are limited and subject to availability, they can be difficult to secure during that time. If you purchase your Theme Park tickets at the gate, there is no guarantee that Disney Park Pass Reservations will be available. I would be heartbroken to find out that you could not enter the Theme Parks despite having a purchased ticket. For this reason, I highly encourage you to purchase your Theme Park tickets online and make your Disney Park Pass reservations immediately after you have done so.
I hope my answer was helpful, Melony. Please come back and see us if there is anything else we can do to help.
Happy Planning,
Ashley F.
