Bryan from CA Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

Hello, can I purchase tickets on the front gate the same day I’m planning to visit Disneyland? Thank you

Hey there, Bryan! Thanks for swinging by planDisney with your question. I’m so glad you stopped by.

Bryan, although tickets can be purchased at the Disneyland Resort Main Entrance Ticket Booth the day you arrive, ticket sales will be subject to availability of park reservations, as each Guest needs both a ticket and reservation to enter the parks. The Cast Members are accessing the same park reservation calendar as those of us from home, so you’ll see the same availability they will.

I will say that sometimes reservations do become available at the last minute, or even the day of, even if you don’t see them in advance. As Guests change plans and cancel reservations, those reservations are released back into the system for other Guests to grab. So, if you don’t see your desired date available, keep clicking refresh just in case! Reservations can be made up to 120 days in advance so many Guests reserve well in advance, but life happens and sometimes cancellations come in last minute.

Best of luck securing those tickets and reservations, Bryan!
