Welcome to planDisney, Hector. I’m so glad you took the time to stop by with your questions for us.

Hector, I must say your generous gesture really warms my heart knowing you’re interested in gifting Disneyland Resort theme park tickets for your friend and his family so they can experience the magic of Disney! However, at this time, all new ticket sales have been paused until further notice. We do know that Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park will officially reopen on April 30, 2021. Since that date is just around the corner, I anticipate we will hear information really soon regarding when tickets sales will begin. You could wait for that announcement before purchasing your tickets for them. However, you can also present your friend and his family Disney Gift Cards; once Disneyland Resort resumes new ticket sales, your friend can easily apply the Disney Gift Cards for the purchase. This can be done on Disneyland.com or with the Disneyland mobile app.
