If I purchase tickets for a friend for five days at WDW where we only want to park hop one day, is it possible to purchase six 1-Day tickets ($405) versus 5-Day ticket with Park Hopper option ($470)? I'm a Platinum Passholder.

    Hi Ted!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. It sounds like you are getting ready for a fun trip to Walt Disney World Resort! Since you are a Platinum Passholder, I hope you are getting ready to enjoy some of the new magic at the theme parks for this year's 'Incredible Summer'! I know I thrilled to meet Edna Mode at the Incredible Tomorrowland Expo in Magic Kingdom and to see Star-Lord and Gamora takeover America Gardens Theater with an alien band from Xandar to play us some of our favorite 70s and 80s tunes in Guardians of the Galaxy – Awesome Mix Live!.

Park hopping between theme parks is a great way to make the most of your theme park days by enjoying multiple theme parks in one day. The standard theme park ticket that you purchase for your friend will allow entry into one theme park per day. Unfortunately, Guests are limited to using only one ticket per calendar day. So unfortunately, you cannot purchase a 6-day admission ticket with the plan to use two admission days on one calendar day. If you would like to visit two theme parks on the same day of your vacation, your friend will need to add the Park Hopper Option to his or her theme park ticket.

Be sure to keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for announcements about new things headed to Walt Disney World Resort in advance of your trip with your friend! T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
