Hiya Nancy - welcome to
planDisney!
Thanks so much for stopping by with your question for our team of panelists. We love helping Guests just like you plan magical Walt Disney World Resort vacations, and I'm happy to help answer your question about
Theme Park Tickets!
While Walt Disney World Resort Theme Park Tickets are
non-refundable and non-transferable, there is still quite a bit of flexibility hiding behind those scary "nons"! While this does mean that you can't cancel and receive a refund for your tickets, you do have several great options to use them in the future.
First, if you decide to delay your trip and return at a later date, you may be able to simply modify your ticket's start date to align with your new plans. If the new dates you select require a higher-priced ticket, you'd simply need to pay the difference. You would also want to cancel and rebook your
Park Pass Reservations as those will
not automatically move with you to your new dates.
To do this in the
My Disney Experience Mobile App, tap the menu icon (three horizontal lines in the bottom right corner of your screen), and then tap
Tickets and Passes. Find your ticket and then you should see an option to modify dates. If you don't see this option, or you want to learn more about your options, you may want to call 407-934-7639 to speak to a Cast Member about your existing tickets.
If you don't know when your next visit to Walt Disney World Resort will be, you can apply the value of an unused ticket to a future purchase when you're ready to. Just make sure to retain your Ticket ID or purchase confirmation, and when you're ready to book your next vacation, call 407-939-1936 for assistance in applying those funds.
I hope you don't need to use any of these measures and are able to arrive safely to enjoy all of the
Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary Celebration magic! If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to
reach out to our team of panelists again.
