I want to purchase tickets for family. I will not be be going to parks. The website indicates part of the proof needed to pick up the tickets is the original credit card from which the tickets were purchased. I do not want to give them that. Advise please?

Hey there, hi there, ho there, Cindy!

Thanks for dropping by with your wonderful Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning question. You're as welcome as can be here at planDisney! I'm excited to hear your family will be visiting The Most Magical Place on Earth in just a couple of days. The halls are decked and the holiday season is in full swing at the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks! Now let's discuss how you can give your family members the gift of magical memories.

Cindy, I understand you'd like to purchase theme park tickets for your family members, but don't want them to have to provide the payment method used for the transaction when they pick up their tickets. I'm happy to help you work through this! You have two options for getting the tickets into the hands of your family members while maintaining the privacy of your payment method:
    1. During the theme park ticket checkout process, under "Guest Info," select "This order will be a gift." Enter the legal first and last name of one of the recipients. You'll receive an email confirmation gift receipt of your purchase, which you'll forward to the ticket recipient named during the checkout process. Then, your family member will take the gift receipt email and valid photo identification to a theme park ticket booth to redeem the group's theme park tickets!
    2. Alternatively, if you're connected to each ticket recipient via My Disney Experience, instead of selecting "This order will be a gift" during the checkout process, select each family member receiving a ticket. Then, each family member should utilize Disney MagicMobile service to enter the theme parks. I recommend having them set up their Disney MagicMobile passes in the My Disney Experience mobile app before they head to the theme parks so they can experience a seamless park entry!
Cindy, I hope you've found this information helpful, and I hope your family members have an incredible time at the Walt Disney World Resort. If you have any additional planning questions, feel free to stop back by planDisney anytime. We're all ears!

    See ya real soon,
