Hello there, Justina! Welcome to planDisney and a very Merry Christmas to you!
I am excited to hear that it looks like you may want to purchase a few tickets for the Disneyland Resort for a Christmas gift. I love that idea! Unfortunately, Disneyland Resort has moved away from printing and mailing out tickets now. The good news is it is all done online and you will have your
eTickets within a few hours of purchasing (usually within a few minutes). This means it's not too late to purchase them today for a special Christmas delivery.
All you will need to do is head to Disneyland's website and
purchase your tickets there. Since its reopening in 2021, Disneyland Resort has moved to a
reservation system. This means you will need to select the dates and parks you are wishing to attend on each ticket during the checkout process. If you are unsure of when these tickets might be used, do not worry! The reservations can easily be canceled and rebooked for the new dates. If this is the case, I do recommend making sure you purchase tickets that are Tier 6, so that the recipient can change the dates to any of the dates without issue. If a lower-tiered ticket is purchased, there will be dates the tickets will be blocked out from being able to be used.
Once you have purchased them, you will be sent an email with a link to your tickets. You could print this out or search the internet for fun ways to give Disneyland tickets as presents. I've seen so many fun and creative ways! Once you've surprised the recipients, they will just need the Ticket ID number and they can link that number to the
Disneyland app and their tickets will link and they will be able to scan into the park through the app.
Justina, thanks again for stopping by. I hope you are able to give the gift of Disney magic this year! Please come back and see us again with any other questions you have!
