Hey, Bryan! Thanks for swinging by planDisney with your question. I’m happy to help you with some information to plan your future visits.
Let’s start with
tickets. While you can purchase tickets once you arrive at Disneyland Resort, I strongly recommend looking at the
Theme Park Reservation Availability Calendar online so you can purchase tickets and make park reservations as soon as possible. If you wait to purchase tickets once you arrive, you run the risk that park reservations may not be available. If you don’t see your desired date(s) available online, I would keep refreshing and checking often. When Guests change plans and cancel reservations, you may get lucky and catch those as they pop up.
You can also purchase
Magic Key Passes online, either on the website or within the app. Currently there are two types of Magic Key Passes available – the Enchant Key, and the Imagine Key (for Southern California residents.) I recommend checking the
blockout calendar to make sure the Magic Key you select will work for the days you’d like to visit. There are no refunds offered on these passes, so it's a good idea to check the calendar before purchasing.
I am a Magic Key Holder myself. It’s a nice feeling to know you can experience the magic time and time again and plan multiple visits at once!
Bryan, sending you some faith, trust, and a little pixie dust to unlock the magic soon! Come back and see us if you have any more questions, we’re here to help.
