Hey Howdy Hey Erin and welcome to planDisney!
Looks like in a few short days you will be on your way to visiting us in the Most Magical Place on Earth! I bet you all are so excited about getting the final preparations made for your trip. There is so much to be excited about for your next trip, so let's talk about these tickets and getting you in the parks!
With the Florida Resident and AAA membership, these are two separate discounts and in my past experience, Disney will only let you take advantage of one but not both. But sit tight and let's talk about the options as they may have changed recently. First off with the Florida Resident status.
Florida Residents have some
really good ticket offers to the Theme Parks which can be purchased online. The way to buy these tickets is by having your My Disney Experience profile updated to include that you are a Flordia resident and then you will have access to these tickets. Keep in mind you will have to show a
Florida proof of residency, usually a Driver's license, to redeem these tickets. You should be able to validate your Florida resident status by uploading your information online prior to checking out with your ticket purchase or you could pick up your tickets at Guest Relations prior to entering the parks and show your Florida I.D. for validation.
Now the AAA discount. This is a negotiated benefit that AAA has for their customers interested in Walt Disney World vacation and is available by booking your tickets through AAA. You would have to call your local AAA agency or look online into the options they have with regards to discounted tickets to Walt Disney World.
I hope this information helps you find the best deal on your upcoming trip. If you have any further questions let us know, we love talking about all things Disney!
Happy planning,
Nick
