Welcome, Wendy!
Thank you for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I love the idea of giving the magical gift of Walt Disney World Resort theme park tickets as a wedding present. Where better to spend the beginning of their own happily ever after than at the Most Magical Place on Earth? It sounds like a practically perfect fairy tale to me!
Currently, Walt Disney World Resort theme park tickets purchased now must be used by or expire on December 31, 2019. If you aren't sure if they'll use them by then, I definitely recommend looking into purchasing a Disney Gift Card (or two) for them instead. This way they will be able to use the funds at their discretion to purchase tickets when the time is right.
My husband and I honeymooned at Walt Disney World Resort and were given
Disney Gift Cards as wedding presents. In fact, I still have a precious "Happily Ever After" themed card with Cinderella's coach in my wallet. The balance has long been a zero, but it's an adorable card and a simple reminder of our incredible trip and storybook beginning. There are so many
wedding themed cards to choose from, I'm sure you'll find one that suits each of them perfectly. Plus you can add a note with the gift so they know your beautiful plan when they receive them.
Congratulations to the happy couple from all of us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Wendy. Please let us know if there is anything else we are able to assist you with.
Pixie Dust,
Lauren
